Mad Factory Films is built on the shoulders of childhood friendships…

In 2016, Joe Joyce moved to Los Angeles, CA to immerse himself in the Hollywood culture. There, he learned valuable lessons about writing, and most importantly, the barriers that deter many people from creating and producing content of their own. They’re indoctrinated to feel that professional actors, thousand-dollar sets, and major camera setups are essential to the process.

While such luxuries would be welcomed with open arms, sometimes they’re harder to come by. Joe Joyce realized this when he moved back to the East Coast after his year long sabbatical and brought his ideas to Jon Groth and their troupe of childhood buddies.

It was there that Mad Factory Films was born, with an emphasis on minimalist filmmaking and peer assistance to produce engaging, quality entertainment based on original ideas.

They continue to write, produce, and develop original ideas for their audience, always looking to the most realistic and value-driven options to bring their stories to life.
